Terms and Conditions of Sale

These Terms and Conditions of Sale ("Terms") apply to all purchases made through the She Straps website.
By placing an order through our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not place an order through our website.

Please read before using your She Straps™ Retractable Ratchet Straps.
Your safety is important to us. These instructions are provided to help you use your She Straps™ products correctly and safely. Failure to follow these instructions may result in damage to your load, property damage, serious injury or death.
Intended Use
She Straps™ Retractable Ratchet Straps are designed to help restrain suitable loads during transport.
They are intended for securing loads to vehicles, trailers and other appropriate anchor points.
They are not designed or approved for:
- Lifting or suspending loads
- Vehicle recovery
- Towing
- Personal restraint
- Climbing or fall protection
- Any purpose other than load restraint
Before Every Use
Inspect each strap carefully before use.
Do not use the product if you notice:
- Cuts or fraying
- Torn stitching
- Excessive wear
- Heat or chemical damage
- Rust or corrosion
- Bent or damaged clips
- A damaged ratchet mechanism
- Any part that does not operate normally
If in doubt, replace the strap immediately.
Safe Use
Always:
- Use suitable rated anchor points.
- Never exceed the Working Load Limit (WLL) shown on the product label.
- Position the strap so it is not twisted.
- Protect the webbing from sharp edges.
- Tighten the ratchet securely without over-tightening.
- Check your load after driving a short distance and re-tighten if required.
- Check your load regularly during longer trips.
Never
Never:
- Use damaged straps.
- Tie knots in the webbing.
- Join straps together unless using approved accessories designed for that purpose.
- Modify or repair the product yourself.
- Use the strap if labels are missing or unreadable.
- Use the strap for lifting, towing or recovery.
- Allow children to use the product unsupervised.
Care and Storage
To help maximise the life of your She Straps™ products:
- Store in a clean, dry place.
- Allow straps to dry before storing if they become wet.
- Keep away from prolonged exposure to chemicals.
- Avoid unnecessary exposure to direct sunlight when not in use.
- Remove dirt and debris after use.
- Do not store with excessive tension on the strap.
Warranty
Your She Straps™ product is backed by a 12-month manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship when used as intended and cared for in accordance with our instructions.
The warranty does not cover:
Misuse
Overloading
Accidental damage
Normal wear and tear
Improper storage
Unauthorised modifications or repairs
Use outside the intended purpose
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected.
Product Liability
By using this product, you acknowledge that:
You are responsible for selecting the correct restraint equipment for your application.
You have inspected the product before use.
You will use the product only as intended.
You understand that incorrect use of load restraint equipment may result in serious injury, death or property damage.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bright Sign Pty Ltd trading as She Straps accepts no liability for damage or injury arising from misuse, overloading, incorrect installation or use contrary to these instructions.

Tie down smarter in 5 simple steps.
1. Attach
Clip the fixed end onto a suitable rated anchor point.
2. Pull
Press the coloured release button and pull out only the strap you need.
3. Secure
Clip the retractable end to the opposite anchor point.
4. Tighten
Ratchet the handle until your load is secure.
Don't over-tighten. Your load should be firm and stable, not crushed.
5. Retract
When you're finished, press the coloured release button and guide the strap back into the housing.
No rolling.
No tangles.
No loose ends.

Before You Hit the Road
✔ Check both clips are fully engaged.
✔ Make sure the strap isn't twisted.
✔ Keep the webbing away from sharp edges.
✔ Never exceed the Working Load Limit shown on the label.
✔ Stop and check your load after the first few kilometres, then regularly during longer trips.

Inspect your straps before every use.
If the webbing is cut, frayed, damaged, the ratchet doesn't operate correctly, or the hardware is bent or corroded, stop using the product and replace it.

3. Eligibility to Purchase
By placing an order, you confirm that:

- packaging may change from time to time;
- minor manufacturing variations may occur without affecting product performance.
We reserve the right to update product descriptions, specifications, pricing and availability without prior notice.

5. Intended Use of Our Products
She Straps retractable ratchet straps are designed as load restraint products for securing suitable loads during transport.
They are not designed or approved for:
lifting loads;
overhead lifting;
towing vehicles;
vehicle recovery;
supporting suspended loads;
personal restraint;
climbing or fall protection;
any use outside their intended purpose.
Misuse of our products may result in serious injury, property damage or death.
You are solely responsible for ensuring our products are suitable for your intended application.
6. Safe Use
Before every use, you should inspect your straps for signs of damage, including:
cuts;
fraying;
excessive wear;
heat damage;
chemical damage;
corrosion;
bent or damaged hardware;
damaged stitching;
malfunctioning ratchet mechanisms.
Do not use a product that appears damaged or unsafe.
Always:
follow the supplied instructions;
ensure the strap is correctly positioned;
avoid sharp edges unless appropriate protective sleeves are used;
ensure the load is stable before transport;
regularly check load security during transport.
7. Load Ratings
Customers must never exceed the stated Working Load Limit (WLL) or any other load rating specified on the product or its packaging.
The Working Load Limit is determined under controlled testing conditions and assumes correct use of the product.
Exceeding the stated load limits may result in equipment failure.
Load ratings do not replace the customer's obligation to determine whether a product is appropriate for the intended application.
8. Orders
An order placed through our website is an offer to purchase products.
Your order is not accepted until:
payment has been successfully authorised; and
we issue an order confirmation or commence dispatch.
We reserve the right to reject or cancel any order before dispatch where:
payment cannot be authorised;
products become unavailable;
pricing errors occur;
fraudulent activity is suspected;
shipping restrictions apply;
we reasonably believe fulfilment is not possible.
If payment has already been received, any refund will be processed using the original payment method where possible.
9. Pricing
Unless otherwise stated:
all prices are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD);
prices include GST where applicable;
shipping costs are calculated separately during checkout;
promotional pricing is available only during the advertised period.
We reserve the right to correct genuine pricing errors before dispatch.
If a pricing error materially affects your order, you will be given the option to proceed at the correct price or receive a full refund.
10. Payment
Payments may be made using approved payment methods available during checkout, including:
Shopify Payments;
Visa;
Mastercard;
PayPal;
Afterpay;
Zip; and
any additional payment methods offered through Shopify from time to time.
Orders will not be dispatched until payment has been successfully authorised.
She Straps does not store your complete credit card or debit card details.
Payments are processed securely through authorised third-party payment providers.
11. Dispatch and Delivery
She Straps currently ships products throughout Australia and New Zealand.
We aim to dispatch orders within the timeframe advised on our website. Dispatch timeframes are estimates only and may vary during periods of high demand, public holidays, promotional events or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive shipping confirmation and, where available, tracking information.
Delivery timeframes are estimates provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed by She Straps.
We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping providers, weather events, customs processing, industrial action or other events outside our reasonable control.
If an order is returned to us because of an incorrect delivery address supplied by the customer or because it was not collected from the carrier, additional shipping charges may apply before the order is re-dispatched.

12. International Orders (New Zealand)
Orders delivered to New Zealand may be subject to customs requirements, import duties, taxes or other government charges.
Unless otherwise stated, these charges are the responsibility of the customer.
She Straps has no control over customs processing times or government charges imposed by overseas authorities.

13. Risk and Ownership
Ownership of the products passes to you once full payment has been received by She Straps.
Risk in the products passes to you when the products are delivered to the delivery address provided during checkout or collected by you, as applicable.
It is your responsibility to ensure that someone is available to receive the delivery where required.

14. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Where permitted by law, our liability is limited to the remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.

15. Warranty
She Straps products are supplied with a 12-month manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, subject to normal use and compliance with our care and safety instructions.
The warranty does not cover damage arising from:
misuse;
overloading;
improper installation or use;
towing or recovery applications;
lifting or suspension of loads;
modifications or repairs by unauthorised persons;
accidents;
neglect;
exposure to chemicals or excessive heat;
fair wear and tear;
cosmetic damage that does not affect product performance.
To make a warranty claim, customers may be asked to provide:
proof of purchase;
photographs of the product;
a description of the issue; and
any additional information reasonably required to assess the claim.
Approved warranty claims will be resolved by repair, replacement or refund, at our discretion and in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
16. Returns and Refunds
Our Returns and Refund Policy forms part of these Terms.
Please refer to our separate Returns and Refund Policy for full details.
Nothing in our Returns and Refund Policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
17. Customer Responsibilities
By purchasing and using our products, you acknowledge that you are responsible for:
selecting the correct product for your intended use;
ensuring all loads are restrained safely and legally;
complying with all applicable road laws and transport regulations;
inspecting products before each use;
using products only as intended;
replacing products that become worn or damaged;
reading and following all instructions supplied with the product.
Improper use of load restraint equipment can result in injury, death or property damage.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, She Straps is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from the use of our products or website.
This includes, but is not limited to:
loss of profits;
business interruption;
loss of income;
loss of opportunity;
damage arising from misuse of products;
failure to follow supplied instructions;
incorrect installation;
overloading;
unauthorised modifications;
improper storage or maintenance.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian law.
19. Product Recalls
If a product is subject to a safety recall, She Straps will notify affected customers where reasonably possible using the contact information provided during purchase.
Customers agree to follow any recall instructions issued by She Straps or relevant government authorities.
20. Promotions and Discount Codes
From time to time, She Straps may offer promotional discounts, introductory offers or discount codes.
Unless otherwise stated:
discount codes cannot be exchanged for cash;
only one discount code may be used per order;
discount codes cannot be applied retrospectively;
discount codes may exclude selected products or promotions;
promotional offers may be withdrawn or amended without notice.
Where a promotion has been used incorrectly due to a technical error, we reserve the right to cancel or amend the order in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
21. Intellectual Property
All content appearing on the She Straps website, including logos, branding, product names, photographs, graphics, videos, written content, designs and other material, is owned by or licensed to Bright Sign Pty Ltd unless otherwise stated.
You must not reproduce, copy, modify, distribute or commercially use any content without our prior written permission.
The She Straps name, branding and associated intellectual property remain the property of Bright Sign Pty Ltd.
Unauthorised use may result in legal action.
22. Events Beyond Our Reasonable Control
We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform our obligations where those delays result from events beyond our reasonable control.
Examples include:
natural disasters;
floods;
bushfires;
pandemics;
industrial disputes;
government restrictions;
transport interruptions;
supplier shortages;
cyber incidents;
failures of telecommunications or internet services.
Where practical, we will make reasonable efforts to minimise any disruption and keep customers informed.
23. Changes to These Terms
She Straps may update these Terms from time to time.
The latest version will always be published on our website.
Any changes apply to orders placed after the revised Terms become effective.
24. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
Any dispute relating to these Terms or the purchase of products from She Straps will be determined in accordance with the laws of Queensland and the applicable laws of the Commonwealth of Australia.
Where products are supplied to customers in New Zealand, nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights available under applicable New Zealand consumer laws.
